Petri and Pape the big winners at the 2026 Y Dream Home Lottery draw

KAMLOOPS — Thirty years of Y dream home lotteries means 30 people won prizes this morning (June 24) as the grand prize draw was held at the Dream Home. The big winners this year claimed the $1.3 million home along Coldwater Drive in Juniper and the 50-50 pot of over $300,000. 

“This is a $1.34 million win, and who is that lucky individual because we are changing lives,” said Bryce Herman as Rochelle Petri was announced as the grand prize winner.

It’s a call that more than 21,000 people around Kamloops were hoping to receive on Wednesday morning from Herman.

“Hi Rochelle, this is Bryce Herman calling from the Y Dream Home and 50-50 lottery,” said Herman as Petri picked up her cellphone. “I’m not as good as you, you just won this year’s Y Dream Home.”
