Kamloops RCMP seeking downtown graffiti suspects
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are seeking information to identify a pair of suspects believed to be involved in graffiti tagging on a mural in the downtown area.
Police said the detachment received the report on Sunday (June 14) of graffiti that had been spray painted on an exterior wall of a building in the 200-block of 4th Avenue.
RCMP officials believe the incident happened some time overnight on June 12, and investigators have since obtained surveillance footage and images of two suspects they believed were involved in the incident.
According to police, the mural sustained significant damage, with repair costs estimated between $1,500 and $2,000.
