Ben Stiller To Direct HBO Documentary On New York Knicks

Ben Stiller announced that he’s producing an HBO documentary about the New York Knicks in partnership with A24 and Madison Square Garden. He revealed on the Roommates Show, hosted by players Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart, that his frequent phone use during courtside appearances was for filming footage. “I’m really excited to announce that we are officially making a documentary about the New York Knicks for HBO,” Stiller said. The multi-part project will cover “all eras of the Knicks” and focus on the team’s recent championship run against the San Antonio Spurs, their first title since 1973. Production began before the playoffs and will continue through next season.
