Jeff Probst Announces ‘Survivor’ Animated Movie In Development

Host Jeff Probst announced this week that Survivor is being adapted into an animated movie set in the animal kingdom. The project partners with Paramount Animation to bring “everything we love about Survivor” to the big screen, including “big personalities, funny characters, surprising alliances, competition chaos, and, of course, a lot of heart,” Probst said in a social media announcement. The animated comedy will feature animals competing to be crowned the sole Survivor instead of human contestants. Probst, who will executive produce, called it “the perfect fit” since Survivor has always been about watching different personalities learn to live together while competing. He expressed excitement about the “whole new playground to play with” in the animal kingdom setting.
