Hermiston of Kamloops offers insight on front-office duties with Vancouver Canucks

The Vancouver Canucks hired Daren Hermiston of Kamloops on June 5.

Hermiston is the club’s director of player personnel and player development, making the move to an NHL front office the front office after nearly 20 years as a player agent.

The former Thompson Rivers University student spoke to CFJC Today on Monday, offering thoughts on his career path, analytics, his relationship with Canucks’ head coach Ryan Johnson, the NHL Draft, free agency, his job description, social media and team culture.
