One patient sent to hospital after motorcycle crash in downtown Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — One patient was sent to hospital after a vehicle incident in downtown Kamloops Thursday (June 11) afternoon. 

BC Emergency Health Services (EHS) told CFJC Today they received a call for an incident involving a motorcycle at Sixth Avenue and Seymour Street at around 4:45 p.m. 

“An ambulance with primary care paramedics and an ambulance with advanced care paramedics responded to the scene. Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to one patient who was transported to hospital in stable condition,” EHS states.

Kamloops RCMP S/Sgt. Chris Kienzle told CFJC Today the motorcycle was travelling northbound on Sixth Avenue while a red SUV was southbound. The SUV was attempting to make a turn, although the motorcycle was through traffic. No criminality is suspected.
