Kamloops rental prices continue to rise while provincial average declines
KAMLOOPS — Rental costs in Kamloops rose in the last month, despite the provincial average decreasing in the same time.
That’s according to the latest report from Rentals.ca, which reported a rise in costs for both one and two-bedroom units.
The average cost to rent a one-bedroom apartment in Kamloops increased from $1,837 per month to $1,879, marking a 2.4 per cent month-to-month increase.
Meanwhile two-bedroom units saw a more modest 0.5 per cent jump in in price to $2,113 per month, up from $2,103.
