NorthPaws swept by AppleSox to close U.S. road trip

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops NorthPaws were unable to maintain momentum to close their six-game U.S. road trip. 

After winning their first series of the 2026 West Coast League (WCL) season, the NorthPaws were swept in a three-game set by the Wenatchee AppleSox. 

Kamloops dropped a back-and-forth game 9-8 in 10 innings Friday (June 5), had a ninth inning comeback attempt fall just short in an 8-7 loss Saturday and were shut out 4-0 Sunday. 

The NorthPaws are at the bottom of the West Coast League North Division with a 2-7 record.
