Kamloops RCMP seeking missing teen girl

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing teen girl who is known to frequent the North Shore and Valleyview/Dallas areas.

Police said 16-year-old Marissa Wilson was reported as missing on Tuesday (May 26), and was last seen in the 1700-block of Sunnycrest Avenue on Sunday (May 24) at approximately 8:00 a.m.

According to a police statement, she was not found after extensive efforts by her family and her disappearance was reported to Kamloops RCMP.

RCMP officials said Wilson is known to travel to the Northshore and Valleyview/Dallas areas by foot and bus, and she may also travel to and from the Lower Mainland and Ashcroft.
