KAMLOOPS — Kamloops youth Anderson Kampman has launched ‘Toonies for Talons’ to support the BC Wildlife Park’s bird of prey rehabilitation.
1st Kamloops Scouts said Kampman launched the fundraising initiative as part of his King’s Venturer Scout Award project.
Kampman hopes to raise $1,000 through the campaign, which will help secure a legacy brick for the Scouts at the park.
“Every toonie helps make a difference for injured and recovering birds of prey in our community. Please consider donating $2 or more to support this amazing project,” said 1st Kamloops Scouts.
