Tk’emlúps to study viability of potential hotel, meeting space
TK’EMLUPS — Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc is moving ahead with a plan to bring a hotel to the community.
Sc.wén.wen – the First Nation’s economic development arm – says it has awarded a contract for a feasibility study and business plan to Toronto-based consulting firm CBRE Canada.
The projects will lay the groundwork for a new hotel and meeting space within the Tk’emlúps community.
“The feasibility study will assess market viability, development considerations, projected costs and potential opportunities associated with a future hospitality and meeting space development,” said Sc.wén.wen in a news release issued Wednesday (May 20).
