Williams Lake water system upgrades behind months-long traffic disruption
WILLIAMS LAKE B.C. — Infrastructure upgrades starting next week will disrupt residential traffic in Williams Lake until the end of July.
The City of Williams Lake said construction and excavation work will occur along Johnson Street from Gibbon Street to Western Avenue and Pigeon Avenue from Comer Street to Western Avenue.
Both roads will be down to single-lane traffic, with Johnson Street taking only southbound traffic and Pigeon Avenue taking only northbound only.
Work will begin on Tuesday (May 19) and continue until Friday, July 31, 2026.
