Sue Wilson’s family is saddened by the passing of their mother and grandmother on Monday, April 6, 2026. Sue was predeceased by her husband Norman and parents Bob and Lainie Batten. She is survived by her daughter Marcia Wilson, and grandchildren Alex and Kate Mey; also her son Rob Wilson and wife Rachel, and grandchildren Jacob, Charlie and Nate.

Born in Vernon on a snowy evening, November 17th, 1946, Sue moved to Richmond as a child and later to Kamloops in 1967 as a new bride.

It was Sue’s wish to say thank you to all for the friendships she developed over the years, especially Dave Dickinson, with whom she travelled extensively over the past decade. No funeral or service at Sue’s request and donations in her memory may be made to a charity of your choice. The family would like to thank Dr. Dickinson and the entire staff at Wheatgrass Medical for their care and compassion over these past months and years.
