City of Kamloops launching new monthly newsletter, educational website
KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops is launching a new monthly e-newsletter aimed at giving residents “a clear, concise snapshot” of everything happening at City Hall in one place.
In a statement, the city says the e-newsletter will include summaries of key Council meeting highlights along with upcoming community events, construction impacts, and other news from the city, so people can “stay informed and engaged.”
“In today’s world, people are surrounded by constant information and competing messages,” CAO Byron McCorkell said in a statement. “It’s more important than ever for local governments to provide factual, timely, and reliable information that residents can trust.”
“This e-newsletter cuts through the noise and brings everything together in a clear, accessible way.”
