Stephen Colbert Reunites With Letterman, Fellow Hosts For Final ‘Late Show’ Episodes

Stephen Colbert will welcome former Late Show host David Letterman and fellow late-night hosts Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Seth Meyers, and John Oliver during his final week before the show ends May 21. The Strike Force Five group, who created a podcast during the 2023 writers’ strike, will appear together May 11th. Letterman visits May 14th. CBS announced last summer it would cancel the long-running franchise calling it “purely a financial decision.” But critics suggest new ownership under Skydance Media wanted to avoid political controversy. Letterman recently told The New York Times that CBS executives are “lying weasels” about reasons for canceling Colbert. Other final week guests include Pedro Pascal, Billy Crystal, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Tom Hanks. (Story URL)
