September 7, 1944 – March 19, 2026
It is with deep love and sadness that we announce the passing of Brian “Scotty” Jenkins, who passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026, in his home in Kamloops, B.C., at the age of 81.
He is predeceased by his parents Ian and Margaret Jenkins, his wife Marilyn Jenkins and his daughter Lori-anne Jenkins.
He is survived by his daughter Catherine Jenkins, grandson Kristopher Meunier, great-granddaughter Lillith, sisters Lesley (Frank) Viskovic, and Margaret (Tom) Suhan, sisters in law Shirley (Dana) Olson, and Sheri (Bob) Miller, cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, in-laws and many family friends.
He was born in Perth, Scotland on September 7, 1944, and relocated to Saskatchewan, Canada with his family at the age of 12. He spent many years serving in the Royal Canadian Air Force and while on leave in Chilliwack, B.C., met his wife of 57 years. He was a devoted, hardworking husband and family man who will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends. He loved spending time with his family relaxing around the pool, growing flowers, fresh fruits and vegetables in his garden, large family gatherings around the holidays, and building a home for us all to live and love in. He had a great sense of humour and never spared a moment to give us all a laugh. In recent times, his world was brightened by his great-granddaughter Lillith jumping up in his lap and playing with the buttons on his cardigan.
You will be deeply missed dad (grandpa).
Rest well. Ye’ll be in Scotland a’fore us.
You may offer a message of condolence at Cypress Funeral and Cremation Services for the Jenkins family.
