Personal belongings from Matthew Perry’s estate are being auctioned to benefit his nonprofit foundation and addiction recovery initiatives. Heritage Auctions announced Tuesday that net proceeds will support the Matthew Perry Foundation’s mission to eliminate addiction stigma and expand treatment access. The collection includes 26 Friends scripts featuring episodes like “The One With Ross’s Tan” and the series finale “The Last One,” plus two scripts signed by the entire cast donated by Warner Bros. Other items feature Perry’s 1995 SAG Award for outstanding ensemble performance, artwork by Banksy and Mel Bochner, and a replica of Monica’s iconic yellow peephole frame. Perry, a five-time Emmy nominee who battled addiction throughout his life, died October 28, 2023 from ketamine effects. The live auction occurs June 5th in Dallas.
