Clearwater-area mine among 17 projects added to provincial fast-tracking list

The Yellowhead Copper mine is touted to produce 90,000 tonnes of ore per day over its 25-year mine life once it reaches full production. The project remains in the early engagement stage of its environmental assessment process. Earlier this year, the province and Simpcw First Nation agreed to work together on developing a regulatory approval matrix.
