RCMP say missing Kamloops man may be trying to get to Vernon

KAMLOOPS — RCMP would like your help tracking down a recent arrival to Kamloops who has been reported missing.

In a news release, spokesperson Staff Sgt. Janelle Shoihet says Gene Siedekum, 61, was last seen Monday (April 20) around the 300-block of Columbia Street.

“Gene recently moved to Kamloops and may attempt to return to Vernon where he most recently resided,” said Shoihet. “We are asking the public to share his photo to assist us in locating him.”

  • 165 lbs
  • Average build
  • Grey/white hair
  • Green eyes
