Canary Lofts crane at First and Columbia coming down Saturday

KAMLOOPS — Traffic along Columbia Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction this Saturday (Apr 18) as TriCity Contracting is set to dismantle the crane at Canary Lofts.

The City of Kamloops said the work will result in the closure of one lane of traffic in each direction along Columbia Street between 1st and 3rd Avenue, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

According to the City, traffic control staff will be on-site to manage movement through the intersections, as traffic lights will be turned off during this time.

Drivers are asked to use caution, expect delays, and avoid the area if possible.
