Frankie Muniz Crashes ‘Malcolm In The Middle’-Themed NASCAR Truck At Bristol
Malcolm In The Middle star Frankie Muniz crashed his specially decorated Ford F-150 during Friday night’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee. The accident occurred as the Malcolm In The Middle: Life’s Still Unfair revival premiered on Hulu and Disney+. Muniz collided with Tyler Reif and Timmy Hill while running a lap down but fighting for the “lucky dog” position. No drivers sustained injuries, though Muniz’s vehicle was destroyed and he was eliminated from competition. “We were running pretty good, I felt pretty quick,” Muniz said after the incident. “I think [Reif] maybe got impatient, I don’t know. He was yelling at me in there, saying I’m a lapper, like I shouldn’t be racing.” The actor-turned-racer defended his presence on track, stating: “I belong on that racetrack just as much as he does, just as much as the leaders do. I’m not going to back down on that.”
