Jasveen Sangha, known as the “Ketamine Queen,” was sentenced to 15 years in prison on Wednesday for selling the ketamine that killed Friends star Matthew Perry in 2023. The 42-year-old dealer pleaded guilty to five federal charges, including maintaining a drug-involved premises and distributing ketamine resulting in death. Prosecutors said Sangha operated a high-volume trafficking business from her North Hollywood home, marketing herself to Hollywood clientele. In October 2023, Sangha and an associate sold Perry dozens of ketamine vials, some of which his assistant injected, causing the actor’s death. An autopsy confirmed he died from acute ketamine effects with other contributing factors. Four others involved face charges: Perry’s assistant and Sangha’s associate await sentencing, while two men received lighter sentences for ketamine distribution.
