Schneider scores go-ahead run as Blue Jays top Dodgers 4-3 to end six-game skid
TORONTO —
Davis Schneider scored the go-ahead run in the eighth inning to lift the Toronto Blue Jays to a 4-3 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers on Wednesday to end their six-game losing streak.
Schneider reached on a walk and advanced to third base on an Andres Gimenez single.
Gimenez stole second and when shortstop Miguel Rojas couldn’t corral Will Smith’s low throw, Schneider scampered home to the delight of the matinee crowd of 37,766.
