Tina Fey, Jamie Dornan, Riz Ahmed Named First Hosts Of ‘Saturday Night Live UK’ Category Icon

Saturday Night Live launches its United Kingdom version March 21st with former U.S. cast member Tina Fey hosting the inaugural episode alongside musical guest Wet Leg. The show will air live from London at 10pm on Sky One and Now, with episodes streaming on Peacock the following day. Jamie Dornan will host the second episode March 28th with Wolf Alice performing, followed by Riz Ahmed and Kasabian on April 4th. The seventy-five-minute format mirrors the American original, featuring opening monologues, topical sketches, live music, and Weekend Update segments. The UK cast includes Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi and Paddy Young. Creator Lorne Michaels and Seth Meyers recently attended London table reads preparing for the launch.
