KAMLOOPS — J.P. Hurlbert has been a sensation in his first year with the Kamloops Blazers.
The 17-year-old forward from Allen, Tex., leads the team with 93 points in 63 games and he’s likely to be picked in the first round of the 2026 NHL Draft.
CFJC reporter Marty Hastings caught up with the Texas Tornado, challenging him to a shooting competition and looking for a few thoughts on his hockey future.
