Nominees unveiled for 2026 Kamloops Sports Council Athletic Awards

KAMLOOPS — The nominees for the Kamloops Sports Council’s 36th annual Athletic Awards have been unveiled.

The awards will be presented Saturday, April 11 at the Coast Kamloops Hotel. The event will also feature the 2026 inductions into the Kamloops Sports Hall of Fame.

Athletic award nominees and award categories are as follows:

Female Athlete of the Year Nominees

Kate Pinsonneault – Water Ski
Alivia Smigielski – Lacrosse
Layla Spencer – Baseball

Transgender Rights
