UPDATE: Snowfall warnings neded in Cariboo, North Thompson and Shuswap
KAMLOOPS — (UPDATE 1:15 p.m.): Environment Canada has lifted the snowfall warnings that were in place for the Shuswap and the North Thompson.
UPDATE 10:15 a.m. — Snowfall warnings are still in effect for the North Thompson and the Shuswap, though it has been lifted for the Cariboo and the North Okanagan.
“A frontal system combined with cool air is bringing significant snow to the region,” the updated warning said. “Snowfall accumulations reached 5 to 15 cm Sunday night with another 5 to 10 cm forecast this morning.”
“The snow will turn to rain later this morning as temperatures warm.”
