The movie will address persistent false rumors about Elliot’s 1974 death at age 32, clarifying she died from a heart attack, not choking on food as widely believed. Elliot was central to Los Angeles’ music scene and hosted celebrities at her Laurel Canyon home before launching a solo career after the group disbanded in 1968.
