Longtime Kamloops firefighter, former chief Moroz succumbs to cancer
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops firefighters are mourning the loss of one of their own.
In a social media post, the Kamloops Professional Fire Fighters’ Association – IAFF Local 913 says Neill Moroz died recently after a battle with occupational cancer.
Moroz served as part of Kamloops Fire Rescue (KFR) for 28 years and was awarded a Fire Services Exemplary Service Medal by Governor General Adrienne Clarkson in 2005.
