City of Kamloops looking for two volunteers to serve on Arts and Culture Engagement Group

KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops is looking for two people who are interested in serving on the Arts and Culture Engagement Group for a minimum two-year term.

The city says the members of the public with expertise in and a passion for arts and culture are encouraged to apply for the volunteer positions, which support the Livability and Sustainability Select Committee.

“The Arts and Culture Engagement Group meets quarterly to assist and support the Cultural Services and Events Division with matters related to arts and culture in the community,” the city said in a statement.

“The engagement group, which consists of seven representatives from the public, makes recommendations and provides input on a wide range of arts and culture planning and community well-being initiatives.”

Interested applicants are asked to submit an online application by 4:00 p.m. on March 13. The new members will be chosen at an Arts and Culture Engagement Group meeting in April and notified in May.
