Dave Coulier Announces Remission From Second Cancer Battle

Full House star Dave Coulier revealed he’s in remission from tongue cancer during a Wednesday segment on Good Morning America. The actor was diagnosed with P16 squamous carcinoma after doctors found a flare-up during routine screening. This comes nearly one year after beating Stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. “It’s been a roller coaster ride for sure,” Coulier said. “I’m in remission with both cancers.” He completed 35 radiation treatments on December 31st. Doctors confirmed the tongue cancer was unrelated to his previous lymphoma, with a “90% curability rate.” Coulier credits wife Melissa Bring and co-star John Stamos for support throughout treatment. He now encourages others to prioritize health screenings, saying “even though I’m in remission, I feel like cancer is always in the rearview mirror.”
