Channing Tatum Undergoes Surgery For Separated Shoulder, Shares Hospital Photos

Channing Tatum underwent surgery for a separated shoulder this week, sharing hospital photos on Instagram. The actor posted a black-and-white image from his hospital bed wearing a medical gown and cap. “Just another day. Another challenge. This one is gonna be hard. But whatever. Let’s get it,” Tatum wrote. His girlfriend Inka Williams commented support, writing “Big bad wolf we got disss.” Tatum shared X-ray images on Instagram Stories showing broken bones before surgery and a large screw holding them together afterward. He captioned the post-surgery X-ray “Screwed shoulder. Yay.” The actor didn’t reveal how the injury occurred, though he’s known for performing his own stunts. In September, Tatum told Variety he injured his leg filming Avengers: Doomsday, requiring intensive physical therapy and his stunt double to handle heavier scenes.
