Mounties pull arsenal from North Shore home
KAMLOOPS — RCMP say they seized a cache of nearly 20 guns when they stormed a Kamloops North Shore home Tuesday (Feb. 3).
In a news release, Sgt. Jason Pole of the detachment’s Crime Reduction Unit says members launched the investigation last month with a traffic stop.
That led to Mounties obtaining a search warrant from a home in the 200-block of Tamarack Avenue. Officers searched the property Tuesday, finding and seizing 19 guns and a ‘significant quantity’ of ammunition. They also confiscated undisclosed amounts of illegal drugs and cash.
