Nurse’s two-goal effort leads Goldeneyes in 5-0 thumping of Sceptres
VANCOUVER — Sarah Nurse scored twice and Tereza Vanisova added a goal and an assist as the Vancouver Goldeneyes defeated the Toronto Sceptres 5-0 Thursday night for their first PWHL home win of 2026.
Nurse and Vanisova scored unassisted goals 11 seconds apart as the Goldeneyes broke the game open with three goals in the second period.
Izzy Daniel and Abigail Boreen also scored for Vancouver (4-1-2-7).
Goaltender Kristen Campbell stopped 24 shots for her first shutout of the season against her former team.
