Sabrina Carpenter Named First Performer For 2026 Grammy Awards

On Tuesday (January 20), Sabrina Carpenter was officially announced as the first live performer for the 2026 Grammy Awards, scheduled to air live from Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 1. The singer earned her first two Grammys at last year’s ceremony, winning Best Pop Vocal Album for Short n’ Sweet, and Best Pop Solo performance for “Espresso,” while also performing a medley during the event. This year, Carpenter has received six nominations including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for Man’s Best Friend, plus Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, and Best Music Video for “Manchild.” That hit single debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in June, marking Carpenter’s first chart-topping debut. The 68th Grammy Awards will air at 8 p.m. ET on CBS with Trevor Noah hosting for his sixth consecutive and final year. Additional performers will be announced soon.
