Channing Tatum’s ‘Magic Mike Live’ Opens In Times Square This October
Channing Tatum will bring his “Magic Mike Live” stage show to New York this fall at a renovated venue near Times Square. Preview performances begin October 8, with the official opening set for October 22nd. The 90-minute production will feature Sebastian Melo Taivera as “Mike” leading a cast of 15 performers. Shows run Wednesday through Monday at 7:30 p.m., with additional 10 p.m. performances Friday and Saturday, plus weekend matinees at 5 p.m. “This all started as a crazy idea 10 years ago and look at it now,” Tatum said in a statement. The venue includes two lounges developed with Authentic Hospitality. The show joins existing residencies in Las Vegas and London. Producers report the worldwide production has entertained two million audience members.
