HBO Reportedly Reviving Jon Snow ‘Game Of Thrones’ Sequel Series

HBO is in “very early development” on reviving the previously shelved Jon Snow Game Of Thrones sequel series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Writer Quoc Dang Tran from Drops of God is reportedly attached to the project. The new version may shift from Jon’s life beyond the North to the Mediterranean-like land of Essos and include Arya Stark, played by Maisie Williams. “We are very interested and excited by the prospect of a sequel but also keenly aware of how high the bar of execution needs to be,” a source told THR. Kit Harington originally pitched the sequel in 2022 but confirmed in April 2024 it was shelved after none of the ideas “really lit us up.”
