Kiefer Sutherland Arrested On Felony Criminal Threats Charge

Kiefer Sutherland was arrested Monday on suspicion of felony criminal threats following an alleged incident with a rideshare driver. Police say Sutherland is accused of assaulting the driver after getting into the vehicle. The actor was released from custody on $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Los Angeles County Superior Court on February 2nd. Sutherland’s representatives have not responded to requests for comment. The Emmy and Golden Globe winner is known for playing Jack Bauer in 24 and starring in Designated Survivor. He previously served 48 days in jail in 2007 for a DUI conviction. NBC Los Angeles first reported the arrest.
