Cardi B says her tour budget exceeds limit by “a couple of million dollars”

Cardi B disclosed during an Instagram Live session on Wednesday (January 7) that her Little Miss Drama Tour budget has exceeded projections by “a couple of million” dollars despite recent revisions. The Grammy-winning rapper said she may fund the shortfall personally in order to deliver the show she wants for fans. “I’m over a couple of million on my budget tour,” Cardi stated. “We redid the budget, so now it’s just like I gotta go find the f—king money, or I would have to put some of my own money for things that I want because I went over my budget.” The tour launches on February 11 in Palm Desert, California, and features 36 North American dates including two hometown shows at Madison Square Garden. Cardi cautioned fans not to expect elaborate production, saying “I ain’t no damn Beyoncé, so don’t be expecting any of that. I don’t got that production money, but b—h, I’m gonna give it all I got.” (Billboard)
