July 31, 1957 – December 30, 2025 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Louise Alison Simpson on December 30, 2025, in Kamloops, B.C. She died after a brief illness, surrounded by loved ones. 

Louise was born on July 31, 1957, in Fort Langley, B.C., and lived most of her life in Kamloops. She loved her family and friends deeply. She enjoyed spending time in her garden and with all her animal companions both wild and domestic. She was a voracious reader who channeled her love of books into a proud career with the TNRD Public Library. She was also a proud member of the BCGEU. Louise is survived by her children Cassidy (Jessica) Simpson, Jessie (Robert) Mitchell, and Annabree (Natasha) Fairweather, and grandchildren Brennan (Ava), Aubriana, Jerram, and Cormac. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, people are invited to donate to the SPCA.
