KAMLOOPS — Bill O’Donovan, the lead anchor at CFJC since 2001, retired on Friday [Jan. 2]. 

After arriving at CFJC in 2024, it did not take me long to realize Bill does much more than read the news.

He’s been the quality-control gatekeeper, a mentor and leader — and it was my privilege to learn from him.

In this latest Tattle of Hastings, we take a look back at Bill’s career, which started after he graduated from Cariboo College in 1976. 

At that time, being on camera was not part of the plan.
