Kuldip Kaur Mahal, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, at the age of 69.
Born on September 15, 1956, in Slampore, Punjab, India, Kuldip was the daughter of the late Sarwan Singh and Ajmer Kaur Sandhu, and sister to Gursaran Singh, Sona Singh, and the late Gurcharan Kaur.
Kuldip is survived by her husband of 48 years, Surinder Singh Mahal. They made their home in Cherry Creek, where they raised their children Baljit (Johnny) Sidhu, Baljinder (Rubina) Mahal, and Manjeet (Aneil) Mashiana. She was a devoted grandmother to Aasha, Ashveer, Aneesha, Evani, Zareena, Maya, and Yuvraj, all of whom she cherished deeply. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her immensely.
Kuldip found joy in the simple, meaningful pleasures of life. She loved keeping her mind sharp with puzzles such as sudoku, and she took great pride in cooking, planting flowers and tending to her garden. She treasured every moment spent with her loved ones and held her family close to her heart with unwavering devotion. Her life was defined by kindness, generosity, and a deep love for those around her.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Kamloops Funeral Home, 285 Fortune Drive, Kamloops, BC, followed by a prayer service at Kamloops Sikh
Temple, 700 Cambridge Crescent.
