KAMLOOPS — Weather and temperatures are shaping up to be relatively favourable for the annual Kamloops Polar Bear Swim.
Mostly cloudy and 1 C is the forecast for noon on New Year’s Day, when dozens of brave souls will bolt across the Riverside Park beach and into the Thompson River.
Swimmers are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the Kamloops Food Bank.
CFJC Today spoke with prospective plunge participant Morrigan Bonegardener on Wednesday [Dec. 31].
