Survey finds terminal improvements as area of greatest need as Kamloops Airport
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Airport (YKA) says the majority of respondents to a recently concluded survey of passengers have identified the terminal’s departures lounge as the area in greatest need of improvement.
In a statement, airport staff say about 77 per cent of the 190 survey respondents said improvements to the departures lounge was a high priority, and suggestions included expanded space and a greater variety of seating. Suggestions also included additional dining options, more washrooms, as well as additional work stations and charging outlets.
According to the survey results, feedback around the airport’s accessibility initiatives was generally positive though suggestions included larger accessible washrooms with push-button doors and improved wheelchair access to aircraft on the tarmac.
