Skiing underway as Harper Mountain opens for the season

KAMLOOPS — It’s opening day at Harper Mountain and it comes a week after the Kamloops-area ski resort suffered a weather-related setback.
The chairlift at Harper Mountain will begin turning at 12:30 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 27), about two weeks later than initially planned.
The tube park at Harper Mountain has been open daily since last Saturday, Dec. 20, though the ski lifts had to stay shut because of warmer temperatures.
