KAMLOOPS — Cooper Moore is from Red Deer and Josh Evaschesen is from Medicine Hat.
The former minor hockey opponents are now teammates with the Kamloops Blazers, both NCAA-committed players who jumped from the Junior A ranks to the WHL after a rule change last year made that possible.
Neither of the 19-year-old forwards were shoo-ins to crack the Blazers’ roster when they showed up to training camp this past summer.
As CFJC Today reports, they earned their spots – and they’re proving they belong.
