Kamloops born-and-raised Dylana Kneeshaw to succeed Bill O’Donovan as CFJC-TV lead anchor

KAMLOOPS — A familiar face will take over behind the CFJC news desk following Bill O’Donovan’s retirement at the beginning of January.

Dylana Kneeshaw will become CFJC-TV’s producer and lead anchor.

Viewers have gotten to know Dylana since she was first hired as a reporter in 2018.

During that time, she has covered some of the most important and impactful stories in our community — from breaking news to features on notable Kamloops residents.

Earlier this year, she also spearheaded Into Thin Air, an in-depth series on missing persons cases in the Kamloops area.

Dylana is a citizen of the Trʼondëk Hwëchʼin First Nation, and was born and raised in Kamloops, forming very deep ties to the community.

Dylana’s first day as the full-time anchor will be January 5.
