KAMLOOPS — The Mustard Seed is making a donation push in Kamloops for Giving Tuesday.

The non-profit that cares for individuals experiencing homelessness and poverty says any donations made by Kamloops residents before midnight on Wednesday (Dec. 3) will be matched by the Arnie J. Charbonneau Foundation.

“In Kamloops, every act of support helps someone feel safe, cared for, and connected,” Dave Conrad, The Mustard Seed’s director of community and volunteer engagement says. “Giving Tuesday is an opportunity for our community to stand alongside our neighbours who need compassion now more than ever.”

In a news release issued Tuesday, the Mustard Seed says any Giving Tuesday funds received will go toward safe shelter spaces, wellness supports, wrap-around care and outreach and essential winter supports in Kamloops.
