Kamloops to hold one public budget information session as staff aim to wrap up engagement by December
KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops will be holding an in-person information session next Wednesday (Nov. 19), so people will be able to peruse the provisional 2026 budget and ask questions of staff and council.
It will be take place between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. in the Kia Lounge at the Sandman Centre.
This will be the only in-person information session connected to the 2026 budget as the city is aiming to complete all public engagement by December “to promote more proactive planning and accountable spending.”
“We are moving in a direction where we are both approving the budget earlier and consulting on business cases forecasting further into the future,” said Planning and Procurement Manager Dustin Rutsatz.
