Blazers focus on cleaning up mistakes after missed opportunity against Silvertips
KAMLOOPS — After a rest day on Sunday, the Kamloops Blazers hit the ice again Monday (Nov. 10).
The Blazers’ 4-3 overtime loss to the Western Conference-leading Everett Silvertips on Saturday was the focus at practice. They started Saturday’s game well and had a two goal comeback, but there was a three goal lapse in between as well.
“We had a fairly short period in the second period when we lost our way,” Blazers head coach and general manager Shaun Clouston said. “Some of the things that we’ve been working on that we knew were going to be important. For the most part, it was good, but we didn’t check very well during that stretch.
